It all began with a lovely encounter between two entrepreneur moms who share a passion for creativity (as well as a first name) and decided to join forces to create the something feminine with subtle colors… We’d received so many requests that we just had to do it. So for this summer, CANOPEA and MARLOT imagined the perfect swimsuit for moms, something chic, feminine, with the right support and to match our little girls for the perfect mother/ daughter look!

Inspired by Canopea’s best selling Alba sun protective swimsuit for girls, MARLOT designed a woman version with cross back straps and romantic ruffles, adding to its first woman’s line and inaugurating CANOPEA’s first swimsuit for moms ! What came out is a romantic cut with a frontal seam line to give extra support. Available in Stone Pine green, a burnt Sienna and Fragola red, these three earthy and warm colors are flattering for any skin complexion. Its delicate V shaped neckline and seam gives you the support you need while remaining elegant.

Working in fashion for several years, we also wanted to create a swimsuit with a conscience that not only respects our skin and the environment. Cut in our favorite recycled sun protective fabric, it is free of chemical substances and soft like a peach. We’ve also decided to produce this collection in Portugal in workshops that respect safe work conditions, while limiting our carbon footprint as brands, something which is clearly important for both of our brands.

This summer, moms and daughters will finally have a perfect matching sun protective look we love. We hope that you will enjoy wearing them as much as we enjoyed making them !
