Where to travel in France during the month of October?

Dreaming of a vacation where you can relax, refresh, and recharge ? So are we ! As the school rush and after-school activities kick into high gear, the October vacation can’t come fast enough.

Fall is one of our favorite times to get away; the crisp, sunshine-filled days are energizing to our very core, and the breathtaking autumnal colors nourish the body, mind, and spirit.

This year, we are feeling inspired by a fall break rooted in nature and far from the crowds.  To inspire and motivate you, we have selected our top 5 favorite nature get-aways in France, each showcasing the best that nature has to offer.

So sit back and allow the wonder of each location to reveal itself!

Bonifacio, Corsica

Its location on a cliffside makes it an unusual perched village overlooking the Mediterranean. This fortified town where you can still admire its ramparts and forts has a picturesque look and a small port that attracts travelers.

When you discover Bonifacio, take the 65-metre-high King of Aragon's Staircase, which finally reaches the sea. Its 187 steps have been hand-carved by man... A colossal work perfectly preserved which makes it a listed historical monument.
