The stars make their movies in iconic swimsuits !

1956 - Brigitte Bardot - And God Created Woman (Roger Vadim): three men compete for the heart of Juliette who does not know which one to choose. With her white two-piece swimsuit, Brigitte Bardot definitely launched the bikini fashion in France. 

1958 - Jean Seberg - Bonjour Tristesse (Otto Preminger): Cecile, 17, spends the summer on the French Riviera with her father and Elsa, his latest conquest. Anne, a friend, invites herself last minute and plays the spoilsport by creating a climate of rivalry between the women. With her short hair and graceful figure, Jean Seberg appears in a red one-piece swimsuit combining classicism and elegance. 

1959 - Elizabeth Taylor - Suddenly Last Summer (Joseph L. Mankiewicz): Violet Venable, a wealthy widow, pays a surgeon to perform a lobotomy on her niece, presumed insane and committed since the death of her cousin, who disappeared under strange circumstances. Elizabeth Taylor plays a very seductive niece in a white one-piece bathing suit. 

1962 - Marilyn Monroe - Something's got to give (George Cukor): a married woman and mother of two children, disappears, then reappears. In her last unfinished film, shot shortly before her death, the actress wears a very unusual flesh-colored two-piece.

1962 - Ursula Andress - James Bond 007 vs. Dr.No (Terence Young): the famous British secret agent is sent on a mission to Jamaica. He is charged with investigating the mysterious death of one of his colleagues. Ursula Andress joins the coveted circle of James Bond girls and makes her career take off thanks to a two-piece ivory swimsuit, belted on the hips, sporty and original at the same time.  

1962 - Sue Lyon - Lolita (Stanley Kubrick): Humbert, a professor of literature, rents a room during the summer. The landlady will try to seduce him, but Humbert seems much more attracted to her daughter Lolita, a sensual teenager. Sue Lyon's printed two-piece is not just a fashion accessory. 2000 - Cameron Diaz - Charlie's Angels (Joseph McGinty Nichol): Natalie, Dylan and Alex are tasked with finding the designer of a revolutionary software program who has been kidnapped. A surfer look for Cameron Diaz in a pristine white two-piece swimsuit. 

2003 - Angelina Jolie - Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, the Cradle of Life (Jan de Bont): action and adventure for the charming archaeologist Lara Croft, who must find the famous Pandora's Box. Angelina Jolie's black bathing suit recalls the one worn by Ursula Andress in James Bond vs. Dr. No, forty years earlier. It has the effect of placing her immediately in the rank of sex symbol. 

2003 - Ludivine Sagnier - Swimming Pool (François Ozon): An English author of successful thrillers spends a few days in the beautiful house of her publisher in the Luberon. Julie, the daughter of the latter, comes to disturb the novelist's tranquility.
