Where to travel with your family in February?

After a few cold and depressing months packed with endless holiday meals, we are all in need of a sunny getaway. But where to go to escape the cold while avoiding the crowds? We’ve gathered a small selection of dreamy destinations for your next winter holidays as a family, as a couple (or solo!)… All you have to do is book it!

Cuba, Caribbean

Clear turquoise water, breathtaking landscapes itching to be discovered, ancient architecture oozing with charm, Cuba has the potential to become THE tourist destination. Its enchanting and welcoming coastline is ideal for sunbathers. Typically, the climate is perfect in February, the sky is clear, and the temperature is pleasant. However, its worth noting, the distinctive climate that characterizes Cuba, differs climactically between the north and the south of the island. While the weather in Havana in February is appealing the weather in Santiago is sublime.

Cape Verde, Africa

The Cape Verde archipelago, with its ten islands of volcanic origin, is a destination to be discovered through the rhythm of its music. Beaches and mountains are the main tourist attractions of the country. As each island differs from one another, both by its vegetation and its landscapes, the archipelago offers a multitude of activities. The powerful waves of the Atlantic Ocean on the Cape Verdean coast are ideal for water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing. Its coral reefs, with their rich colors, shelter an abundance of marine animals to be discovered while scuba diving.

Maldives, Asia

The Maldives is made up of endless lagoons, islands, atolls and sea. The 1200 or so islands that shape the archipelago make up only 0.4% of the territory of the Republic of Maldives. The remaining 99.6% is made up of lagoons and other bodies of water. Here, the expression "jumping in headfirst" takes on new meaning at this ideal seaside destination. In general, the month of February allows you to enjoy your favorite activities in peace and quiet. The climate is mild, with comfortable temperatures with relatively low rainfall- ideal for boat trips, excursions and other activities such as scuba diving.

Tenerife, Europe

The largest of the Spanish Canary Islands, Tenerife stands out by virtue of its breathtaking landscapes. The beautiful sandy beaches contrast with the grandeur of the Teide volcano, which is the highest point of the island. Tenerife, thanks to its sunny climate, is a dream destination for those who love relaxing holidays by the sea. Given its landscape and geographical location, it is also perfect for adventure seekers, surfers and water sports lovers alike.

Jordan, Middle East

Jordan, named after the famous Jordan River, is a land of priceless cultural treasures, must-see landmarks and breathtaking landscapes. Between Petra and the Dead Sea, to discover Jordan is to take a step back in time. Its historical sites are linked to biblical stories that bring it a mystical charm. This makes the discovery more like a pilgrimage than a tourist attraction. The mild winter throughout the country makes Jordan one of the best destinations to recharge away from the extreme winter conditions of some parts of the world.
