Our two-piece bikinis are available from age six. At Canopea, we value the innocence of childhood and create designs suited to each age. For girls under six, we favour more enveloping styles such as our girls' one-piece swimsuits and girls' UV-protective sun suits.
Can I buy different sizes for the bikini top and bottoms?
No. Our bikinis are sold as complete sets, with the same size for the top and bottoms, for production and logistics reasons. To mix sizes, create a set with a girls' UV-protective swim top and girls' bikini bottoms sold separately.
Does a UV-protective bikini protect the stomach from sunburn?
No. UPF 50+ certification applies only to areas covered by the fabric. As the stomach remains exposed, it needs sunscreen or a UPF 50+ swim top worn over the bikini.
Could the bikini slip during swimming?
Our bikinis are designed for active children. Stretchy ECONYL® fibre and soft, well-fitting elastic help the swimsuit stay in place for swimming and playing in the sand.
